HOME	EDGE Fellows Summer Internship Program Feasibility Studies on New Business Ideas Ask top executives in NE Ohio for great new business ideas they may have. Not new products but new business ideas! Recruit top students to perform the due diligence and feasibility analyses on the ideas. Pair students with business mentors to provide guidance through the process. Provide students with a meaningful educational experience, expose them to new opportunities and new relationships, and ideally keep them working in Northeast Ohio. Present the results to potential investors and serial entrepreneurs to create new businesses. In 2010: 15 EDGE Fellows conducted feasibility studies on eight new business ideas that may benefit NE Ohio business development in areas of Health Care, Alternative Energy, Water Treatment, Advanced Materials, Software Platforms, Polymers, Sustainability Initiatives and Supply Chain Management.
