HOME	EDGE Partners with Entrepreneurship Preparatory School The EDGE has worked over the past year to help raise awareness and potential funds for the Entrepreneurship Preparatory School (E prep). It is our hope that our influence will not only help the program financially, but also create opportunities for the school to attract mentors and volunteers, provide the students with a chance to interact with business executives and encourage the continued success for the program and the students. Here are a few examples of the support we have helped to provide: EDGE member companies and supporters donated money to purchase tickets to the Cleveland Orchestra's presentation of Bugs Bunny on Broadway at the historic Severance Hall on Saturday, December 8, 2007. E prep students and family were invited to watch vintage Looney Tunes on the big screen while the reknown Cleveland Orchestra provide the score. On June 7th the EDGE coordinated a day at the ballpark for the entire 6th grade class as a celebration of the success they have achieved after a hard first year in the E prep School. Students and their teachers were invited to attend an afternoon game where they were "hosted" by over 85 business executives. The students, teachers and business leaders enjoyed all the benefits of Club Seats, including the all you can eat food buffet, PLUS the students received a t-shirt signed by a player, a goodie bag and a special visit from Slider. None of this would have been possible without the generous support of the Indians front office and the 85+ business executives that participated and others that donated to support a student for the day. Conducted a raffle at the Leading EDGE Awards in May with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the E prep program. Winning companies and sponsors of the program generously donated prize packages that helped us to raise over $2500 that evening. Pledge cards were also distributed at the Leading EDGE Awards dinner to the 500+ guests. These cards included the option to sponsor a student for the upcoming academic year. The Friends of E prep are still receiving cards with various donation amounts. Notably, two companies, Fairmount Minerals and Famous Enterprises have agreed to sponsor a student for the 07-08 school year by donating $5,000 each.	Sponsoring an E prep Student Two EDGE Member Companies have agreed to sponsor an E prep student for the 07-08 academic year. Fairmount Minerals and Famous Enterprises have each agreed to pledge $5,000 to cover the costs associated with the E prep program (above and beyond the allotted funds from the state).
