Additive Manufacturing – InnoQuest April 20th Recap

Posted on May 3, 2016

ParticipantsIMG_1197 got a crash-course in Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing/Rapid Prototyping), seeing first-hand how quickly it is changing the way companies do business. No longer is 3D printing just for prototyping as it is now being used for scaling up manufacturing in dramatic ways. Northeast Ohio is fortunate to have The Technology House here for the last 20 years as they stay on the leading edge of this revolution.

Greg Cebular, VP, Sales & Project Management shared The Technology House’s story and guest speakers included Phil DeSimone from Carbon3D – an innovative leader behind the technology and materials used – as well as Rob Gorham of America Makes – which is part of a national network which strives to create collaborative environments to bring technology advancements like additive manufacturing from the lab to the factory floor, create jobs, and produce more competitive products.

The morning was capped off by an extensive tour of The Technology House’s new facility, sharing the breadth and depth of products and services that Additive Manufacturing is addressing today while offering a glimpse of the near future.
