Creating a Coaching Culture – Executive Forum Recap

On Thursday, March 17th, EDGE members joined HR Leadership Group of Northeast Ohio members for an Executive Forum: Creating a Coaching Culture. Barbara Singer-Cheng, President and CEO, Executive Core, facilitated a conversation with present experts including Weatherhead School of Management, Director of Executive Education Professor, Dr. Melvin Smith; Operating Officer, AMETEK, Denise Schier; as well as the audience about their perspectives and discussed:


  • Defining the work of coaching as a stand-alone practice and as a leadership approach to bringing out the best in others.
  • The relevant research in the coaching field for practitioners and organizational leaders.
