Quarterly breakfast series designed to stimulate new thinking and inform over top-level management as it relates to strategy, leadership and innovation management. Speakers include nationally recognized CEOs, authors and thought leaders on relevant topics for middle-market business leaders. Each forum is attended by over 100 business leaders of EDGE Member organizations as well as other mid-market companies in Northeast Ohio. Program content has included: The Engaged Workplace, Where Everybody Matters with Matt Whiat, Barry-Wehmiller Companies; Creating a Coaching Culture with Barbara Singer-Cheng, President & CEO, Executive Core; Agility & Alignment with Bo Burlingham, Author; Editor-at-Large, Inc. Magazine and an Economic Forecast.

Innovation ImageInnoQuest – Innovation Management Program

A collaborative forum offered bi-monthly to leaders and innovation practitioners of mid- to large-sized companies in Northeast Ohio. Participants gain best practices in managing and guiding the innovation process, new working relations with peer companies & leading practitioners and actionable steps to improve a company’s innovation practices. Program content has included: Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing), Lean Start-Up Principles, Design Thinking and Creativity in Leadership. Each session is held at a location of interest throughout the region; past locations have included; Sherwin Williams, The Technology House, NASA Glenn Research Center, Baldwin Wallace Center for Innovation and Growth, Parker Hannifin’s New Innovation Center and the Cleveland Institute of Art.

The Annual EDGE Member Dinner as a social event for EDGE Member CEOs and their guests. It is held in December at Mayfield Country Club providing an opportunity for EDGE members to enjoy an evening together over cocktails and dinner.





EDGE Fellows Reunion Group Shot 5-29-15 - cropped2Student Internships

The EDGE Fellows Intern Program helps business leader focus on and accelerate new business ideas to benefit Northeast Ohio while providing graduate level students with a rich entrepreneurial experience and fosters networking in an effort to keep Fellows connected to the region after graduation. Since the program’s inception in 2007, over 71 projects have been researched through the program – of which 50% have generated new revenue for Northeast Ohio. Plus, nearly 70% of EDGE Fellows choose to stay in Northeast Ohio following graduation, creating a great network of young leaders. The EDGE Fellows program was awarded the 2016 “Coolest Internship” by Northeast Ohio Council on Higher Education.

Several golf outings are held throughout the year to raise funds and bring awareness of EDGE’s mission to mid-market leaders. The golf outings provide players with a great opportunity to connect with CEOs, presidents, owners and senior executives of like-minded middle-market companies during a round of golf and lunch as well as a presentation from prominent Northeast Ohioans. Golf outing presenters have included Ronn Richard, CEO of the Cleveland Foundation; Austin Carr, retired NBA player and Cleveland Cavaliers color commentator; and Campy Russell, retired NBA player.



img_9570Day at the Ballpark with Breakthrough Schools

Business and civic leaders host over 100 middle school students from Cleveland’s Breakthrough Schools for a day of mentoring and fun at the Cleveland Indians game. Students share their education and career goals with hosts over lunch in the club section while taking in a Cleveland Indians game.
