EDGE creates experiential-learning programs to help:
- top graduate-level students find great opportunities to plug into northeast Ohio’s entrepreneurial community
- business leaders with new business development and innovations

our region train and retain great talent in Northeast Ohio.
New Business Assessment Program (Winter Intern Program)
Graduate-level students are selected to participate in an independent study program which pairs selected students in teams of 2 – 4 to work with a local company to identify opportunities for new business development and innovation. EDGE guides the program, and eligible students may receive academic credit for participation.
EDGE Fellows (Summer Intern Program)
Students selected to be EDGE Fellows are matched with business mentors and a new business concept proposed by an NEO executive. EDGE Fellows conduct due diligence throughout the summer and are also invited to various networking, executive education and civic leadership programs to enhance their experience.
InnoQuest (Fall Course)
A practical, 12-session course on innovation management taught by a mix of business practitioners and consultants. Open to both graduate students and business leaders. EDGE identifies intern opportunities for eligible selected students and helps participants network with companies throughout the region.
